Meet Brad

I grew up grilling. It’s how I learned to cook, how I connect with people, and eventually how Chiles and Smoke came to life.

My wife was a vegetarian for years before she trusted meat again. By the time she did, reading labels had become a habit in our house. When I looked at what was actually in the rubs and sauces sitting on my grill cart — corn syrup, dextrose, preservatives — I knew I needed to build something better. Not just for the people cooking my recipes, but for my own family.

Chiles and Smoke is live fire cooking built on that standard. Sonoran flavors, real ingredients, and a philosophy that good food doesn’t need anything to hide behind.
