The Korean grilled ribeye was born to bring the flavor. This steak transforms from the classic beefy behemoth into a drool-inducing treat.

  • 2 Ribeye Steaks
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1” ginger, minced
  • 1/2 C soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp kimchi brine (from a jar of kimchi)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds


  1. Mix marinade ingredients.
  2. Marinade the steaks for at least 2 hours, overnight preferred.
  3. Preheat your grill or smoker for high-temp searing.
  4. Remove the steaks from the marinade. Grill directly over flames, flipping every 30 seconds. Cook until just before the target temperature, 125-130F for med rare. Allow the steak to rest briefly before slicing.
  5. Mix gochujang with a tiny bit of water to thin it out for a tasty dipping sauce.
