Ingredients
Scale
- 8 hot dogs
- 8 hot dog buns
- 1 white onion, finely diced
- Yellow mustard
- 2 cups shredded cheddar, or Monterey Jack
Chili Ingredients
- 2 pounds of ground beef, 85/15 preferred
- 2 tablespoons Sedona Sand All-Purpose Seasoning
- 4 garlic cloves, pressed
- 15-oz can of tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons chipotles in adobo sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Start browning the meat. Preheat a cast iron skillet to medium heat. Add in the beef and break it up with a spoon, or meat chopper. Cook for a few minutes until the meat has started to brown and is broken up.
- Add in the seasonings. Sprinkle in the Sedona Sand All-Purpose Seasoning and garlic cloves, stirring the meat to mix everything and toast the spices.
- Simmer on low. Once mixed, add in the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and yellow mustard. Mix everything well and cook down until most of the liquid has reduced, which should take about 10 minutes. Sprinkle in a little brown sugar and taste the chili. Add salt as needed.
- Serve warm on top of grilled hot dogs, corn chips, burgers, and much more.
